- Nothing on this site is medical advice. Pages about conditions, treatments and hospitals are general information to help you prepare. They are not a diagnosis, a recommendation to treat or a substitute for a doctor's advice.
- We do not diagnose, treat or prescribe. Only a licensed doctor who has examined you can tell you whether a treatment is right for you.
- No guarantees. We cannot promise that a hospital will accept you, that you will see a specific doctor, how long you will wait, what treatment you will receive, how much it will cost in total, or any result. Results differ from person to person.
- Costs and information change. Prices, waiting times and procedures are set by hospitals and may change without notice. Our figures are guides, not offers.
- Talk to your own doctor first. Before you travel, ask your doctor at home whether you are fit to travel and to be treated abroad, and keep in touch with them.
- Emergencies. We are not an emergency service. If you think you or someone else is in danger, call your local emergency number (in mainland China: 120) or go to the nearest hospital.
- Hospital names and links are for information only. They do not mean the hospital endorses or works with us.
- Translation and interpreting. Our escorts help you communicate, but they are not certified medical interpreters. Important decisions and consent should be confirmed with the doctor and, where needed, the hospital's own interpreter.
