What Huashan is known for

Huashan is especially known for the brain and nervous system — neurosurgery and neurology — and for hand surgery and infectious diseases. [1] Its international clinic also lists departments including cardiology, oncology, ophthalmology, emergency medicine and integrated Chinese and Western medicine. [2]

Two ways to be seen at Huashan

Regular outpatient care. Every department and specialist, at public hospital prices. Appointments are made with your passport and open only days ahead. Everything is in Chinese.

Huashan Worldwide Medical Center. An English-speaking clinic for international patients, open on working days, with direct billing for many insurers. [2] It costs more than regular care.

How we help at Huashan

  • We check which department suits your condition and book your appointment with your passport.
  • We prepare a one-page summary of your case in Chinese for your doctor.
  • Your medical escort stays with you: registration, consultations, tests, payment and, if needed, your hospital stay and surgery day.
  • You leave with a summary in English or French and all your records.

We are not part of Huashan Hospital and take no commissions from it or any hospital. Whether the hospital accepts your case, and how you are treated, is decided by its doctors.
