About China Care Journey
We help people from other countries get care at China's top hospitals, with someone from our team beside them the whole way.
Why we started
It started with questions. People from other countries kept writing to me about travelling to China, and more and more of those messages were really about health: could they see a doctor in China, which hospital to choose, how to get an appointment, what it would cost.
The worries were always the same. Hospital booking happens in Chinese apps. Doctors and staff often speak little English. Payment is needed at every step, and nobody could tell them where to begin. Many were curious about China's top hospitals, but without someone beside them the trip felt too hard to try.
So I started China Care Journey: a place where those questions get a straight answer in plain English, and where you can have someone with you at the hospital if you want.
What we believe
- You should know the price before you decide. Our fees are published. Hospital fees are paid by you, directly to the hospital.
- Recommendations should depend on your health, not on our income. We take no commissions or referral fees from hospitals.
- You choose your route. Regular outpatient care or the international department — we explain both and book the one you prefer.
- We say what we cannot do. We do not diagnose or prescribe, we cannot guarantee that a hospital accepts your case, and we never promise medical results.
How we are paid
Only by you, through the service fees on our pricing page . Not by hospitals or clinics. Flights and hotels we book for you are charged at their price, with nothing added. Sightseeing is arranged and charged separately by a travel agency we work with.
Where we work
Most often at top-tier (Grade 3A) hospitals in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Chengdu and Sanya. Other cities on request.
Who we are
Who escorts you. China Care Journey is a small team led by its founder, who has a medical background and speaks English, French and Chinese. Our medical escorts are members of that team. They help you understand your doctors, ask the right questions and get things done at the hospital. They do not diagnose or prescribe, and they are not employed by any hospital.
