What your escort does not do
Your escort is not your treating doctor. They do not diagnose, prescribe or decide your treatment. Those decisions are made by the hospital's doctors, with you.

Common questions
Can my escort stay overnight in hospital? Inpatient support is a daily visit, not a 24-hour presence. If you need someone with you at night, tell us and we'll help you arrange a hospital care worker (paid to the provider directly).
Can my family join the appointment? Yes. Your escort can also give your family a short update after each visit, with your permission.
What happens if I need more time? Your escort tells you before the time runs out, and you decide whether to continue at the extra-hours rate.
