How it works

Five steps, from your first message to your follow-up at home. At every step you know what happens next, how long it takes and what it costs.

Step 1 — Tell us what you need

Fill in the short form or message us on WhatsApp. We only need your name, how to reach you, your country, the condition or department you are thinking of and a sentence about your situation. Please don't send medical records yet.

What you get: a reply within 24 hours. Cost: free.

Step 2 — Get a recommendation and a quote

We suggest the hospital and department that fit your situation, and explain the difference between regular outpatient care and the international department for your case. We tell you roughly how many days you may need in China and which service suits you, with a written quote.

What you get: a recommendation and a fixed quote for our service. Cost: free. You decide whether to go ahead.

Step 3 — We prepare your trip

Once you confirm, you pay the $180 pre-trip coordination fee (credited to any package). You then send us your records by email or WhatsApp.

  • We organize your records and write a one-page summary in Chinese.
  • We book your appointment in your name, using your passport.
  • We plan your days and send you a schedule.
  • We send a checklist: what to bring, how to pay in China, and where to apply for your visa.
  • If you wish, we book your flights and hotel. You pay them directly, at their price.

What you get: a Chinese summary, a booking confirmation, a schedule and a checklist, within 5 working days of receiving your records.

About appointments: many hospitals open bookings only a few days ahead, and popular specialists fill quickly. We book as soon as slots open, but we cannot guarantee a specific specialist. If your plans change, tell us before the hospital's cancellation deadline (usually the day before) so we can cancel without losing the fee.

Step 4 — We go with you in China

Your medical escort meets you and stays with you at the hospital:

  • registration, consultations and tests;
  • explaining what doctors say, and helping you ask the right questions;
  • paying the hospital, including setting up TenPayGo or your card;
  • during a hospital stay: a daily visit, talking with your doctors and nurses, updates for your family;
  • collecting reports, invoices and medicines.

Your escort does not diagnose or prescribe. Your treatment is decided by the hospital's doctors, with you.

What you get: a written summary in English or French at the end of your visit.

Step 5 — We stay in touch at home

You leave with your records, reports and the paperwork your insurer may ask for. If you want, we follow up remotely ($95 per session): explaining new reports, reminding you of check-ups and helping you contact your hospital in China. If you need a change in medicines or treatment, we refer you back to your hospital or your local doctor.
