How it differs from a package
A package covers a set number of escort days. Case management follows your course of treatment, however it unfolds: before you travel, every stage in China, and after you return home.
What is included
- One named escort for your whole case. The same person from your first conversation to your follow-up at home.
- Your case prepared before you travel. Records organized, a summary in Chinese, and your case sent to the target department so we can ask, before you fly, whether they are likely to see you. The hospital decides whether to accept you.
- Every stage in China. Consultations, tests, admission, surgery day, a daily visit during your hospital stay and discharge.
- Every important conversation. When doctors explain the treatment plan, the risks or the consent forms, your escort is there to translate and help you ask everything you need to.
- Updates for your family. Regular updates for family members who cannot be there, with your permission. These describe what is happening; they are not medical opinions.
- A handover home. A treatment summary in English or French, plus all your records and scans, ready for your local doctor.
- Follow-up after you return. Three remote sessions to explain new reports, remind you of check-ups and stay in touch with your hospital in China.
- Everything in the comprehensive package: flight and hotel booking at cost, airport pick-up arranged, help with payment, and insurance claim documents.
Price
From $2,400. Complex cases — a long hospital stay, several operations or treatment in stages — from $3,900. We quote for your case after reviewing it, and you pay in two instalments.
Medical fees, hospital deposits, flights, accommodation and visas are not included. You pay the hospital directly.
What we can and cannot promise
We promise that you will understand what is happening, that your questions will be asked, and that your family will not be left guessing. We cannot promise that a hospital will accept your case, what treatment will be offered, or how it will turn out. Those depend on your condition and on the hospital's doctors. Our escorts do not diagnose or prescribe.
For families
If you are arranging care for a parent, partner or child, you can contact us on their behalf. We need the patient's consent before we handle their medical records. Tell us who should receive updates and how often.
