This list is for information. These hospitals are not our partners, and we take no commissions from any hospital. We suggest a hospital and department based on your condition. How we choose a hospital

Regular outpatient or international department?

Regular outpatient care gives you access to every department and specialist, but it is busy and in Chinese only. International departments are quieter, offer English-speaking staff and sometimes direct insurance billing, and cost more. With a medical escort, you can use either. Compare the two routes

Getting there and where to stay

  • Airports: Beijing Capital International Airport and Beijing Daxing International Airport, both with many international flights.
  • Where to stay: close to your hospital. PUMCH's main campus is in Dongcheng District near Wangfujing; Tiantan Hospital is on the South Fourth Ring Road in Fengtai District, south of the center. We suggest options near your hospital and can book them for you.
  • Getting around: Beijing traffic is heavy. Allow plenty of time, and use the metro where you can.
